SUMMARY:Webinar: US Sanctions on non-US companies: risks\, mechanisms\, and examples
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of our member – KKG Legal\, a law firm – we are honored to invite you to the webinar titled “US Sanctions on non-US companies: risks\, mechanisms\, and examples”. The event will take place on 10 September 2025. The webinar will be focused on how US regulations can apply to European companies\, even if they do not have a physical presence in the US. \n May your company be subject to US sanctions even though it does not operate in the US? The answer is YES.\, if it: \n\ntransacts in US dollars\,\nhas US shareholders\, or\nworks with counterparties on sanctions lists.\n\nThe consequences may be serious: heavy financial penalties\, loss of access to the USD system and\, in extreme cases\, inclusion on a sanctions list (SDN)\, which means being virtually cut off from the global market. \nDuring the meeting\, experts from KKG Legal will: \n\nshow how US law and OFAC sanction mechanisms work\,\nexplain the differences between primary and secondary sanctions\,\ndiscuss case studies of companies from Europe and Poland that have faced sanctions\,\ngive tips on how to minimise risks in international operations\,\nanswer all questions during the Q&A session.\n\nThe training will be hosted by experts from KKG Legal\, who have been advising management boards and company owners in key decision-making situations for years: \n\nGrzegorz Pobożniak – partner\nPaweł Sikora – Warsaw office managing partner\n\nThe webinar will take place on 10 September 2025 at 11:00-12:30 in Polish.
