Aviko brings joy to the tables all around the world! It has been creating value from potatoes for 60 years. Since its establishment in 1962, Aviko has grown to become a market leader of European origin of fresh, frozen and dried potato products. Aviko is one of the four largest potato processors in the world, being also valued as top quality trusted brand in both retail and foodservice market segments.
The Aviko group comprises two divisions:
- Aviko Potato Products
Aviko Potato is the largest division within the Aviko group. It is engaged in the production and sales of potato products – Aviko provides its potato products to 110 countries on 4 continents. This takes place from ‘land to customer’: potatoes are purchased by our own Aviko Potato purchasing organization, and subsequently processed into chilled or frozen potato products in one of our 12 factories in Europe & China.
- Aviko Granules & Flakes
The second branch Aviko Rixona, is purely engaged in dried potato products. In this branch, potatoes are processed into mashed potatoes, dried and then converted into flakes and granules.
Aviko is part of Dutch parent company Cosun, a cooperative for plant-based foods, ingredients for animal feed, circular fodder, bio-based solutions and green energy. Together, we are taking the lead in showing everyone the limitless possibilities for plant-based food, plant-based products and plant-based energy.
