Christmas fundraising and raffle by the NPCC

Fundraising and raffle: Win a weekend stay at the Kania Lodge and help elderly people!

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19, we couldn’t organise our Charity Orange Ball this year, which also impacted the charity foundations that we usually support. Therefore, we were delighted when author John Borrell offered us to donate 20 copies of his book The White Lake. We decided to sell them and gather money for Fundacja Prometeusz that takes care of elderly people.

John Borrell was a foreign correspondent, who had established himself in the North of Poland and started a new career as a boutique hotel owner and wine trader. The revised book tells about the hardships of setting up a business and the beautiful location of the Kania Lodge hotel. A story we can all relate to!

The book is available in English and Polish and received good reviews from luminaries like Anne Applebaum. We sell 20 copies of the book and expect to raise 1000 PLN which all will go to the Polish charity Fundacja Prometeusz.

Additional opportunity: In order to drive up the sales, out of the 20 copies, we draw one lucky buyer who will win a voucher for a weekend stay at the Kania Lodge.

  • Billing data of Fundacja Prometeusz can be found here.
  • Costs for 1 copy are 50 PLN, including transport in Poland. You can always donate more. We don’t send invoices for your payment.
  • Mention your name and complete delivery address in Poland and send your payment confirmation to office@npcc.pl
  • We will not draw the voucher when not at least 10 books have been sold
  • Offer ends at 05.01.2021

Don’t hesitate and buy generously!!
