Business Matchmaking at NPCC

Entering a new market or expanding existing activities often starts with one key challenge: finding the right partners. The Business Matchmaking Service of the Netherlands Polish Chamber of Commerce (NPCC) supports companies in navigating the Polish–Dutch business landscape by creating meaningful, well-prepared connections with relevant market players.

Since 2014, NPCC has supported over 1500 companies and facilitated more than 5,500 targeted business meetings, helping organisations explore opportunities, validate market fit and build long-term partnerships between Poland and the Netherlands.

A structured and thoughtful approach

NPCC’s matchmaking service is designed as a step-by-step process that combines market insight with personal outreach. Each project begins with an in-depth consultation to understand your business goals, product or service offering, and the type of partners you are looking for.

Based on this input, NPCC first prepares a tailored long-list of potential partners, built on dedicated market research, including an overview of the market landscape, competition and relevant sales channels. This long-list typically includes a broader group of companies that match the agreed profile and serves as a solid foundation for further validation.

Following this stage, NPCC conducts direct outreach to selected companies from the long-list to verify relevance, interest, and availability. The process then results in a curated short-list of 3–5 confirmed companies, ensuring that meetings are arranged only with partners that meet your criteria and demonstrate genuine interest.

Local presence, practical insight

As an independent, non-profit chamber with a strong network of over 200 member companies, NPCC offers access to local knowledge that is difficult to gain from an outsiders perspective. With its headquarters in Warsaw and an active regional presence across Poland and the Netherlands, as well as close cooperation with Dutch and Polish institutions, NPCC supports companies as if they had a local representative on the ground.

Beyond the meetings

Business matchmaking does not end with the last introduction. Approximately two months after the meetings, NPCC conducts a follow-up review to discuss progress, evaluate leads and identify next steps. This reflection helps companies decide how to move forward in the Polish or Dutch market with clarity and confidence.

For whom?

The service is particularly valuable for companies that:

  • are entering the Polish or Dutch market for the first time,
  • want to test market interest before committing significant resources,
  • are looking for distributors, clients, suppliers or strategic partners,
  • value structured preparation, long-list validation and local expertise.
