Royal Boon Edam is a Dutch family-owned company that is active worldwide in the production of revolving doors and (high) security entrances. The company was founded in 1873 as a carpentry business in Amsterdam and moved to Edam in 1970. Over the years, Boon Edam has developed into the international market leader in the field of revolving doors and a leading supplier of security entrances. Boon Edam employs more than 1,300 people worldwide in 20 countries and has production facilities in the Netherlands, the United States and China. In addition, the company has exclusive distributors in more than 60 other countries. In 2004, Boon Edam was awarded the Royal predicate due to its 130th anniversary. In Poland Boon Edam entrances can be found in famous buildings such as Varso Tower and Warsaw Spire.
