About the company

KAN-BUD is a Canadian company in Poland. As a sister company to Northgate Industries, Ltd. in Alberta, we have been delivering modular buildings worldwide for over 30 years. The founders of the company come from the Netherlands and in the 1960s they moved to Canada to establish a company there. Then, after the fall of communism in Poland, they founded the KAN-BUD company in Poland and have been developing it ever since.

Our operations in Poland are focused on two primary, business lines:

The first line is specialized technical containers, engineered for demanding industrial clients. We are a key partner for sectors like energy, power generation, telecommunications, and renewables — including the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) market. We design and produce advanced, robust enclosures that house and protect critical infrastructure such as switchgear, control systems, and battery units, ensuring safety, durability, and rapid deployment. Our second major line is modular buildings. This division focuses on creating high-quality modular structures for a different clientele: private customers, developers, and investors. We design and construct a wide range of buildings, including modern offices and multi-unit residential buildings, single-family modular homes for private customers, social facilities also for refugees. We also provide modular solutions for public utility spaces such as schools, kindergartens, healthcare clinics. For both segments, we provide comprehensive, turn-key project delivery — from custom design and in-house production to full logistics and on-site assembly. Our strength lies in adapting our engineering precision to the unique technical and environmental needs of each client.
